Hi Keri,

Thanks so much for sharing! It is kind of unbelievable that the summer is over and fall is already upon us. I am one of the few that appreciates the cold though...I just never got used to that heat in Texas for 18 years, and I am glad when that "sweater weather" happens and the fall leaves start turning! It reminds me of football, college, and lining up with the marching band on Alumni Drive under the big oak trees :)

A highlight this summer for me is that I made some health decisions, and have lost 17 pounds so far!! It seems a small dent in the large goal I have, but without starting, I would never achieve it all. So, I am pleased with the progress...and the ways I am going about it, are carrying over into every area of my life - I am learning a lot about me, and what ways I can make better decisions in other ways!!

Another highlight is hiring a business partner...big decision, big risk, and will have a big payoff down the road. We have both decided we will have a GREAT story to tell someday - for MANY REASONS! We are already editing.

The most special moment hasn't quite happened yet, and that is the expected birth of my twin great niece and great nephew! The first in their generation on the Nagel side of our immediate family, and everyone is very excited! We will be creating new Great-Grandparents, new Grandparents, new Great Uncles and Aunts, a new Aunt, new 2nd cousins, the first nephew of any kind, and most importantly, NEW PARENTS! Just think how much of an impact two little babies have on one family! How fun will that be? WOW - I never thought about how many people get to experience change with this birth!

We are very blessed as a family, and it's hard to remember that when the every day stresses of life interfere. Thank you for the reminder of what is really important - taking time to remember and treasure the memories we have.

I hope you have a blessed holiday weekend, and thank you for being a blessing to me and a part of my life!

Love always,
Cynthia Nagel

Highlights included a wonderful harvest from my garden, a hanging basket overflowing with yellow, red and purple flowers to greet me everytime I come home, and walks with my dogs, Ben and Geri.

Low times included having loved ones get divorced and a friends being diagnosed with cancer.

Thank you Elke - in this 'microwave - want it now, shorter and sweeter than ever times' we live in...thought this approach might be refreshing. Thank you for your positive feedback!
